Foreign Correspondent

David spent most of two years in 1986 and 1987 as a reporter in Africa, writing for the Christian Science Monitor and other publications, and filing stories for National Public Radio – while slowly riding his bike from Cape Town to Cairo. Since then, David has traveled extensively to Africa, Asia, and Europe for dozens of stories on everything from AIDS and famine in Africa to drugs in India and the environment in Belize.
